Currently based in Atlanta, I am a multidisciplinary artist.
I reckon with what philosophers dare not feel, what scientists cannot quantify, what saints fear to confess. I wade through the darkness and find my home in the shadows, bridging worlds and mending unthinkable wounds. Through the expression of emotion, I become both storyteller and healer, comforting with discomfort, soothing with unease.
With sorrow on one side comes joy on the other.
I witness the human experience with the movement of my body, the sound of my voice, the shape of a sculpture, and invite others into the cosmic truth that we are, in every way that matters, connected. Even in the mess and the muck, there is beauty. Magic and miracles are everywhere if we have eyes to see it. My work is an offering of beauty, truth, and the reminder that this one wild and precious life is worth living fully.
“Tell me, what else should I have done?
Doesn’t everything die at last, and too soon?
Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”
